‘Coaching’ means different things to different people. But in essence, it is a style of conversation that helps you make changes to improve your life and move you towards your goals or dreams.
The underlying principles are that you know your situation far better than I do, and no two experiences are the same. Therefore you know what could solve the challenges you face. But it may be difficult to see the wood for the trees. So my role is to ask curious questions that help you become fully aware of the situation and the impact (positive or negative) of decisions you make.
Through coaching, people move from feeling directionless, out of control, tired or unmotivated to a place of confidence, peace and (there’s no better word for it) oomph.
